Maumee Film Festival Accepting Submissions
Call for Entries: 8th Annual Maumee Film Festival
The Maumee Film Festival has officially opened its call for entries for its eighth season. Scheduled for September 25–27, 2026, this three-day celebration of independent cinema will be hosted at the historic Maumee Indoor Theater.
Submission Deadlines & Categories
Filmmakers can submit their work in three categories based on runtime:
- Short Films: Up to 15 minutes.
- Long Films: 16 to 50 minutes.
- Feature Films: 51 minutes or longer.
Key Deadlines:
- Early Bird Deadline: March 2, 2026
- Regular Deadline: June 30, 2026

Volunteer Opportunities
The festival is seeking motivated volunteers to join its planning committees. Available roles include:
- Marketing: Social media content creation and scheduling.
- Technical Support: Film validation, audio leveling, and frame rate adjustments.
- Programming: Experience coordinators to manage workshop logistics, theater projections, and guest materials.
